Life and Death on St. Kilda
St Kilda
|
Although they are tagged and extensively studied, the unique Soay sheep of St Kilda are wild and unmanaged - they wander as they please and where they die, they lie, their carcasses picked clean by the scavenging gulls & skuas. This ram expired high in the hills above Village Bay, with beauty all around.
